About NAMI Cumberland and Perry Counties, PA
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots organization for people with mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has grown to over 1,100 affiliates across the United States.
NAMI Cumberland and Perry Counties, PA (NAMI C/P PA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support, education, and advocacy to individuals and families affected by mental illness. Our affiliate serves Cumberland and Perry Counties located in the Central Pennsylvania area.
Through community collaboration, support groups and educational offerings, we advocate for a life of quality and dignity – one without discrimination – for all people affected by mental illness. NAMI believes if a person can find help, they can find hope.
We are proud to support and collaborate with the hardworking students that make up NAMI on Campus Shippensburg University. This student-led, student-run college club organizes to advocate for mental health and engagement with the community.
